MQ Bookkeeping ("I," "me," "my") is a bookkeeping practice based in Mesa, Arizona. This policy explains what information this website collects and how I use it. It covers this website only. How I handle your records once you become a client is set out in your written engagement agreement.
Information you give me
- Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the type of business you are, the service you are interested in, and any message you write.
- Scheduling: if you book a call through the calendar on this site, the details you enter (such as your name, email, and chosen time) are collected by Calendly, which provides the scheduling tool.
- Email and phone: if you email or call me, I receive the information you share.
Please do not send sensitive information
Do not include account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or financial documents in the contact form or in regular email. If we work together, I will set up a secure way to share documents and ask for accountant access to your accounting software rather than your passwords.
How I use it
- To reply to your inquiry and schedule a call.
- To prepare a proposal and provide services if you become a client.
- To keep reasonable business records.
I do not sell your personal information and I do not use it for advertising.
Service providers that handle information
- Contact form: when the form on this site is connected to its delivery service, submissions pass through that service (Web3Forms) and are delivered to my email inbox. When the form shows "Continue in your email app," it instead opens a draft message in your own email app, and nothing is sent until you send it through your email provider.
- Calendly: handles bookings made through the calendar on this site, under its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and may process technical data such as your IP address and requests to the site in order to deliver and secure it.
- Google Fonts: this site loads its typefaces from Google, which receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads.
- Email provider: messages you send me are stored with my email provider.
These providers have their own privacy practices. I share your information with others only when needed to provide these services, when you ask me to, or when the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics trackers. Embedded third-party tools such as the Calendly calendar may set their own cookies.
How long I keep information
I keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and for legitimate business records, then delete them. Client records are kept as described in the engagement agreement and as required by law or professional standards.
Your choices
You can ask me to correct or delete the information you sent through this website by contacting me at the email address below. I may need to keep some information if the law requires it.
Children
This website is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
I may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
